PANGKALPINANG — Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the main drivers of the community-based economy. For this reason, PT TIMAH Tbk continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the growth and independence of MSMEs within its operational areas.
PT TIMAH Tbk’s support for MSMEs is implemented comprehensively through the provision of business capital, capacity-building training, assistance with production equipment to help MSMEs scale up and become more competitive, as well as product promotion and marketing support.
As a company that consistently carries out its social responsibility, PT TIMAH Tbk places MSMEs as one of the key pillars in community economic development. Through the Micro and Small Business Funding Program (PUMK), the company has consistently provided access to financing for MSME actors so they can sustainably develop their businesses.
The PUMK program of PT TIMAH has supported 10,265 MSME actors from 2000 to June 2025, spread across the Provinces of Bangka Belitung Islands, Riau Islands, Riau, West Java, Banten, and the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
Beyond capital assistance, PT TIMAH Tbk actively organizes various training and mentoring programs, ranging from financial management, product quality improvement, packaging, to marketing strategies, including the use of digital platforms. These training initiatives aim to enhance the capacity of MSME actors so they can adapt to market developments and consumer demands.
In addition, the company also provides production equipment assistance tailored to the specific needs of each MSME. This support is expected to increase production efficiency, product quality, and business volume, enabling MSMEs to expand their market reach and increase income.
In 2025, the company has distributed production equipment assistance to 23 MSMEs across various business sectors such as culinary, livestock, handicrafts, and others.
